Public School Construction Program

K–12 Public School Construction Prequalification

As part of the implementation of Senate Bill 164 (SB164), the Utah Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) is establishing prequalification processes for contractors, certified code inspectors, and licensed plan reviewers involved in K–12 public school construction projects.

This page provides information on prequalification requirements, eligibility criteria, application procedures, and supporting documentation. Applicants can access the resources needed to complete the prequalification process, while Local Education Agencies (LEAs) and other stakeholders can view current lists of prequalified contractors, inspectors, and plan reviewers.

DFCM will update this page as prequalification opportunities become available, requirements are finalized, and additional professionals and firms are approved.
