Energy Efficiency Program
What is the State Building Energy Efficiency Program (SBEEP)?
- The Utah State Building Energy Efficiency Program (SBEEP) was created in 1999 and is dedicated to using every watt of state energy responsibly. The program falls directly in line with Governor Gary Herbert's energy plan and aims to help Utah be at the forefront in solving the world's energy challenges.
- The program provides funding resources as well as tools and cost-effective methods for energy efficient design, construction and operations. SBEEP aims to reduce the impact of energy usage in buildings while maintaining high quality spaces for State building occupants.
