DFCM Paving Program

All paving projects must adhere to the minimum standard set by DFCM. To the right, please find an excerpt of DFCM's complete Design Requirements that outlines the State's paving criteria. These standards ensure that the State's paved assets comply with industry standards and meet the needs of Utah citizens for decades to come.

All state paving projects must comply with all ADA regulations

Agency Responsibility

State agencies are responsible for maintaining their parking lots. This includes crack seal, asphalt patching, sealcoat and paint striping. When funding is lacking, it is the agency's responsibility to request a capital improvement project from DFCM.
The DFCM Paving Program can help if you have a trip hazard or pothole, if you need help assessing the condition of a parking lot, if you need a cost estimate or contractor recommendation, or if you're not sure about what treatment is needed for any given pavement issue. If you need DFCM to help with your paving, please fill out the Paving Service Request Form to the right and we'll be in contact with you shortly.
If possible, please attach a photograph of your pavement so we can better assess what is going on.
