DFCM Roof repair and leak program
All state agencies have the responsibility to assist in the inspection and care of the roofing systems on their facilities.  If this extends beyond their capabilities they should ask for assistance from the DFCM roofing program.  Agencies are responsible for evaluating their roof systems and notifying the DFCM if they feel the need for professional evaluation, preventive maintenance beyond their ability and/or funding for replacement.

Roofing Close out documents
The following close out documents should be submitted to Project Manager by the roofing contractor at the completion of all roofing projects.  Project Manager should submit these documents to Roofing Program Manager.  A copy of these documents should also be kept in the project file and delivered to the Agency.

  • DFCM Manufacture Roofing Warranty or Manufacture Standard.
  • DFCM 5-year Contractor Warranty – Required on all Roofing projects.

1. DFCM Standard Specifications are;

  • Sub-Grade compacted to 95%
  • Minimum 8-inches of Road Base compacted to 96% with no more than 4-inches compacted at a time
  • Minimum 3-inches off Asphalt Compacted to 96% with no more than 3-inches compacted at a time
  • Slope; Minimum 1.5% to 2% for Drainage
  • Concrete Curb & Gutter Minimum .5% Slope for Drainage
